Bare Bones: Ravages of Mercury Retrograde

Here we are. Mere days after Mercury went direct again, and I don’t know about you, but it was one heck of a ride on this end!

Instances past, I’d approached periods when Mercury was Retrograde in a “business as usual” manner. I tried to do the same this time, but I’d be wholly unaware, if I didn’t say that it was anything but business as usual.

And, as if a lack of energy and then illness had not been enough, this website and two others I own were hacked!

My own fault. I know this. I’d been in such a hurry to get them up and running that I failed to take the same measures as I’ve taken in the past. I forgot to add the security plugin that I depended upon so heavily in times past. Oy!

As I understand it, this past Mercury Retrograde was about things in need of change would come up for recognition. In addition the days following, the days leading up to the next full moon are about putting the knowledge gained during the retrograde into practice.

I’m definitely doing that!

I’ve spent a good portion of my day trying to get Seraph’s Quill back up and running. At least to the point that it’s workable. Especially taking into consideration that the A to Z Blogging Challenge begins on Monday!

What have I learned?

To remember to add security measures to my sites before doing anything!

Beyond that?

Well, after much reflection, I realize it’s time to go back to the drawing board with much that I’ve accomplished since the beginning of 2019. The very fact that I lost most everything here and my other sites is evidence of that.

The Universe has a funny way of getting its point across, doesn’t it?

So, please be patient with me if things are rather bare bones around here. I’m currently taking a mulligan for 2019, and in oh-so-many ways.

Until next time, my dear friend, may you be well!

I am feeling as though I’m finally gaining traction, so that’s reassuring. I do hope things equalize for you again soon!
