A happy Monday Morning to you, dear friend!
This week I’m once again sharing Monday Morning Messages with you.
It’s an opportunity for us, as a community, to go into the week ahead with a focus that flows with the energies present.
Today before I sat down to write this post, I pulled The Eagle from the Wisdom of Avalon deck by Colette Baron-Reid, which I intended to share with you. And I still will. However, I was also guided to share a card that I pulled this morning during my daily card draw.
First, The Eagle…
This week, we’re making our way to the full moon. Now, I did watch the weekly energy forecast from Tannaz at Forever Conscious this morning. As I understand it, this moon is in scorpio and what she calls a “seasonal blue moon”, which means that it is going to be quite potent.
There is always Divine love pouring in to us from Spirit, but the Eagle asks us to be really aware of this as well as our connection with the Divine and the angelic realm. We are never alone.
“The angels reside beside you, always hoping to aid humankind in finding peace and manifesting abundance and prosperity.”
The Eagle, Colette Baron-Reid,The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards
With the potent energy coming in, we may feel heavy and desire to withdraw. Tannaz asks us to be gentle with ourselves while Eagle asks us to see the bigger picture. Do not make mountains out of molehills as the old saying goes.
“… remember to soar high above life and look at the big picture. Don’t get too caught up in the tiny, unimportant aspects of life. The spiritual world is the real one – your physical life is the dream.” – The Eagle
The Child of Water
Now, the second card I mentioned is The Child of Water from the Gaian Tarot deck from Joanna Powell Colbert.
With the heavy energy of the upcoming full moon come shedding and rebirth. At times like these, it may be rather difficult to feel light-hearted or a sense of joy in the moment. The Child of Water asks us to take more “pains” to connect with the spirit of innocence and joy that exists within us. Our own inner Golden Child.
The Golden Child
If you’ve followed along with me for awhile now, you may have heard me mention the “Golden Child” and who that is. For those of you who are new here, what I call “the Golden Child” is the Divine Child or being that exists within us. Not really a child, it is the timeless being we innately are.
So, when I mention the “Inner Child”, I do not refer to the sometimes “broken” being we become in early life. Rather I refer to the Divine, timeless being we already are when we come into this reality.
When we get in touch with the Golden Child, we are able to experience the wonderment and joy – the magic – of life. It is there, and we used to see it. At least when we first came to this world. Whether that was this lifetime or hundreds or, even, thousands of lifetimes ago.
Reaching Out to “Her”
As we go through the moments in our life, it is so easy to get stuck in our head. It is easy to fall into “unconsciousness”. To allow the pre-recorded messages play in our head and ultimately run the show.
The Golden Child asks us to be present in every moment. Only then, can we be aware of what is going through our mind. It is from that place that we’re able to make a conscious decision to allow it or choose something better. There, we can – as Abraham (through Esther Hicks) teaches, reach for the better feeling thought. And there is always something better. The “Child” will show us the way.
“The Child of Water is tender-hearted and dreamy, and has a rich imaginary life. She needs to embrace her emotions, dreams and imagination, and let her heart be filled.”The Child of Water, Joanna Powell Colbert, Journey through the Gaian Tarot
Until next time, my dear friend, may you be filled with peace.
